How Much Weight Can I Expect to Lose if I Take Diet Pills?

May 2009 - due to the recent recall of hydroxycut, we can no longer endorse the safe use of Hydroxycut.

How much weight can I expect to lose if a start taking diet pills? This is a question I hear very often. And the only correct answer is “it depends”. It depends on the type of diet pills you choose, it depends on your commitment to a healthy diet. And it depends on your willingness to engage in moderate exercise like walking for 30 to 45 minutes 3 to 4 times per week. If you can commit to a healthier diet and moderate exercise then diet pills will definitely help you lose weight.

A website I often refer to compares the average weight loss among subjects who have taken 4 different brands of diet pills. I am not sure of the sample size or the methods by which the collected their information but I will summarize the results for you.

For people who took Proactol diet pills the results seemed very good. Most people who used Proactol said it worked perfectly after the first 2-3 weeks. Averagely, they lost 8-18 pounds monthly.

For people who took ProshapeRX diet pills, the results were also quite good. Most people who used ProshapeRX said it helped them to lose 7-13 pounds monthly.

For clients who used Hoodia Gordonii Plus diet pills the results were also good. Most people who used Hoodia Gordonii said it helped them to lose 5-14 pounds monthly.

For people who used Hydroxycut diet pills the results were very similar to the above. Most people who used Hydroxycut said it helped them to lose 5-13 pounds monthly.

From the results collected it appears that Proactol seemed to give the highest high weight loss and the highest low weight loss over one month. However, the results are so similar that it might be wise to choose the one with the lowest price. There have been complaints that Proactal may be a wee bit pricey.
